How to Move a Million Bucks

by Eduard Bănulescu

/

about

Kurt Vonnegut said that “every grotesquely rich man represents property, privileges, and pleasures that have been denied the many”.

This song questions the very nature of our ambitions. It describes a world where moving a million bucks, or sticking a Warhol on your wall are activities as common as watering a garden. Is this all we want, and our we wasting our dreams on something as banal as riches?

The song has the speed of a punk-rock tune and the heart of a protest folk number.
